Ya know those times when life takes over and things just get in the way of the things you want to do… like writing a blog. Well, that’s what happened to me over the past few weeks. We finally got everything straightened out after the bug incident. My partner, Sunil, and I have been moving forward with our company, FSM, and things are coming together rather nicely. I have yet another new assistant but this one is a keeper. Her name is Wendi and she is not only organizing all of my files, she’s organizing my life.

Ok here’s a big one! My mother turned 102 last week on Sept 14th. I was so happy that I was able to give her a long awaited Art Show for her Birthday. My husband, Jeff, and my son-in law, Scotty, set the room up so that it looked like a real gallery. Quite a few people showed up and they were all impressed with her body of work. Actually so was I! My mom was so happy. It was like she was Queen for a day. Later that evening we had a dinner for her with the family and the following Wednesday she celebrated again at her senior center. It was a full week of cake for Bubby.

In the past few weeks my husband, Jeff, booked jobs on The Colony, The Young And The Restless, and Best Buy (commercial). And his animated movie The Wild Life came out in theaters. What a nice whirlwind of work for him.

Me, I’m getting ready to compete again this weekend in Vegas with Team USA. Babsie is out of town so I am competing alone for the first time. Jeff is off for the weekend so he will be going with me. I’m excited that we will be able to send time together.
